What EventPappy is
EventPappy is a tool for event vendors (DJs, photographers, planners, and similar) to collect event details, get contracts signed, and track deposits from their clients. We give you the link and the workflow. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your client.
Your account
You are responsible for what you post to the app, including your contract text, branding, and client information. Keep your login credentials to yourself. You must be at least 18 years old to use EventPappy as a vendor.
Contracts and signatures
When a client types their name into your intake page, EventPappy records that action as an electronic signature along with a timestamp and IP address. This is meant to serve as reasonable evidence of intent under most electronic signature laws (like ESIGN in the US), but EventPappy does not provide legal advice. Have a lawyer review your contract if the stakes are high.
Payments
EventPappy does not process payments. When you paste a payment link into your settings, your client pays that provider directly and you confirm receipt inside EventPappy. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes are between you, your client, and your payment provider.
Acceptable use
Do not use EventPappy to send spam, collect data you have no right to collect, impersonate someone else, or run anything illegal. We can suspend accounts that do.
No warranty
EventPappy is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee it will be available every second. Do not rely on it as your only record. Keep your own backups of contracts and client info.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, EventPappy is not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, missed events, or any indirect damages that come from using or not being able to use the app.
Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will let active vendors know by email. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
